The story is filled with perilous and eerie mysteries, featuring fox demons, talismans transforming into birds, and a haunting, ghostly atmosphere, imbued with the suspenseful charm of traditional Chinese supernatural tales. The novel blends suspense, horror, political intrigue, romance, and fantastical battles, delivering both the chilling ambiance of “exorcising the General’s Mansion” and the thrilling spectacle of “sword-shattering the void.” In March 2020, Above the Divine Kingdom received a prominent recommendation on Zongheng Chinese Network.
